Bahrain National
Museum:-
The Bahrain National
Museum is the largest and one of the oldest public museums in Bahrain. It is
constructed near the King Faisal Highway in Manama and opened in December 1988.
Bab Al Bahrain:-
Bab Al Bahrain is a
historical building located in the Customs Square in Manama's former central
business district. It marks the main entrance to the Manama Souq.
Beit Al Quran:-
Beit Al Qur'an is a
multi-purpose complex dedicated to the Islamic arts and is located in Hoora,
Bahrain.
Khamis Mosque:-
The Khamis Mosque is
believed to be the first mosque in Bahrain, built during the era of the Umayyad
caliph Umar II.
Arad Fort:-
Arad Fort is a
15th-century fort in Arad, Bahrain. Formerly guarding a separate island of its
own, the fort and its surroundings have since been joined to Muharraq Island.
Al Fateh Grand
Mosque:-
The Al-Fateh Mosque
is one of the largest mosques in the world, encompassing 6,500 square meters
and having the capacity to accommodate over 7,000 worshippers at a time.
Al Areen Wildlife
Park:-
Al Areen Wildlife
Park is a nature reserve and zoo, located in Sakhir, Bahrain. It is one of five
other protected areas in the country and it is the only designated protected
area on land, in the country.
Adhari Park:-
Adhari Park is an
amusement park in the Kingdom of Bahrain based around the historic freshwater
spring known as Ain Adari which is located around the Zinj area. In 2003, the
site was remodeled and it became a major tourist attraction.
Barbar Temple:-
The Barbar Temple is
an archaeological site located in the village of Barbar, Bahrain, and
considered to be part of the Dilmun culture. The most recent of the three
Barbar temples was rediscovered by a Danish archaeological team in 1954.
Riffa Fort:-
Riffa Fort was built
as a fort during the reign of Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Fateh Al Khalifa in
1812, while another source claim that it was built during the rule of the
Persian Safavid Empire of Iranover Bahrain during the 17th century, the fort
was converted into a residence in the 19th century for Shaikh Salman Bin Ahmed
Al Fateh Al Khalifa.
Siyadi House:-
Siyadi House, also
known as Bayt Siyadi is a historic building in Muharraq City, Kingdom of
Bahrain.
