The Best Places To Visit In The Antigua And Barbuda


Nelson's Dockyard:-
Nelson's Dockyard is a cultural heritage site and marina in English Harbour, Antigua. It is part of Nelson's Dockyard National Park, which also contains Clarence House and Shirley Heights.

Fort James:-
Fort James is a fort at the entrance to the harbour of St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. The fort was built to guard St. John's harbour and is one of the many forts built by the British in the 18th century.

Museum of Antigua and Barbuda:-
The Museum of Antigua and Barbuda is a museum in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. It is housed in the colonial Court House, constructed in 1747 on the site of the first city market, and is the oldest building still in use in the city.

Mount Obama:-
Mount Obama is the highest point of the Shekerley Mountains and of the island of Antigua. It lies in the southwest of the island at 17°2′31″N 61°51′4″W, and rises to a height of 402 metres and is named after Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States.

Government House:-
Government House, St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda, is the official residence as well as office of the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda. It was built in the 17th Century Colonial style with Georgian architecture and extensive gardens.

Betty's Hope:-
Betty's Hope was a sugarcane plantation in Antigua. It was established in 1650, shortly after the island had become an English colony, and flourished as a successful agricultural industrial enterprise during the centuries of slavery.

Runaway Beach:-
Runaway Beach is a beach near Saint John's in Antigua and Barbuda. It is located on Dickinson's Bay, and contains the well-known Corbinson's Point.
