on a rocky hill, 130 metres above sea level, surrounded by the Bojana and Drin
rivers.

Closed under communist rule, the mosque reopened as a house of worship in 1991,

Archaeological Museum is a national archaeological museum in Tirana, Albania
and is also the first museum created after World War II in the country. It was
opened in 1948 as Ethnographic-Archeological Museum.
Tirana Zoo:-
Tirana Zoo is
currently the only one in Albania and established in 1966. The Zoo is
concentrated in an area of 7 hectares in the southern part of Tirana, between
the Grand Park and the Botanical Gardens.

Museum:-
The Durrës
Archaeological Museum in Durrës, Albania, established in 1951, is the largest
archaeological museum in the country.
Palace of Culture of
Tirana:-
The Palace of Culture
of Tirana was built on the Pazari i Vjeter area of Tirana by request of the
Party of Labour of Albania. The first stone of the building was symbolically
put by Nikita Khrushchev in 1959. The work was finished in 1963.
